Chemistry is a subject that is ubiquitous in life, from everyday objects to high-tech materials, from energy development to environmental protection. In order to stimulate students' interest and enthusiasm in learning chemistry, improve their scientific literacy, and cultivate their innovative thinking and practical ability, the chemistry teaching and research group of Anqing Foreign Language School organized a chemistry knowledge contest for Senior One, which was held on the evening of 16th June, 2024. Specifically, the participants came from four classes in Senior One, with a total of 35 players participating. After an hour and a half of fierce competition, 3 contestants were awarded the first prizes, 6 were awarded the second prizes, and 9 candidates were awarded the third prizes. At this point, the 2024 chemistry knowledge competition for the 10th grade came to a successful conclusion.
